M&G Lunch presentation: Optimal Income Update with Richard Woolnough

We would like to invite you to our lunch presentation on 20 May in Zurich with Richard Woolnough, fund manager of the M&G (Lux) Optimal Income Fund.

Until recently, fixed income markets have been in relatively calm waters. Inflation seemed to be under control, central banks were mainly in rate-cutting mode, and the global economy was holding up relatively well. But suddenly things are starting to move. Donald Trump is getting serious with his tariff threats, the US Fed has paused cutting rates, while in Europe the new German government has announced a massive fiscal package. What are the implications for the global economy, inflation and ultimately fixed income markets? How should investors position their portfolios in the face of uncertainty? What is the potential for fixed income markets going forward?

Richard Woolnough, fund manager of the M&G (Lux) Optimal Income Fund, will analyse the current environment for fixed income markets and explain how he is currently positioning his flagship fund in terms of portfolio duration and asset allocation.

Past performance is not a guide to future performance. The value of investments will fluctuate, which will cause prices to fall as well as rise and you may not get back the original amount you invested.
